36 Volt Batteries. Affordability makes the 36 volt battery a popular option. This battery is ideal for cruising around the golf course or driving slowly on smooth sidewalks. They are not ideal for off-roading.
48 Volt Batteries. Off-roading is the key option for 48 volt batteries. They are a bit more expensive, but by upgrading your cart to a 48-volt system, you also increase the value of your golf cart should you decide to sell it.
